Ter-Petrosyan on Karapetyan

The first President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, stated in a Facebook post that the only force capable of uniting the fragmented opposition is Samvel Karapetyan, the president of the "Strong Armenia" party.

According to him, months of negotiations among opposition forces have failed to yield any agreements.

"It is necessary to finally understand that the unification of the opposition is not merely a political issue, but rather a matter of saving the nation. Being a self-sufficient and established individual, Karapetyan is capable of solving this problem," the former president said.

It is worth noting that the next parliamentary elections in Armenia will take place on June 7, 2026.
