Severe Snowstorm and Lack of Visibility: Current Situation on the Roads

Due to a severe snowstorm and lack of visibility, the Vardenyats Pass is closed to all types of vehicles, according to reports from the Road Department Foundation.

The roads affected include Gyumri-Ashotsk-Bavra, Gndevaz-Jermuk, Vanadzor-Alaverdi, Vanadzor-Dilijan, Tigranashen-Zangakatun, the road from Jermuk intersection to Kapan, and the section from Meghri Pass to Kajaran. The serpentine roads of Spitak and Dilijan are also closed for vehicles with trailers.
