Snow, Rain, and Blizzard Expected: Weather Update for Coming Days

Precipitation is expected in the Republic of Armenia on March 2, particularly in the mountainous and pre-mountainous regions in the form of snow, and in the valley areas as mixed rain and snow. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

Blizzards and low horizontal visibility are also anticipated in mountainous areas. Black ice is expected on certain segments of the roads. The wind will come from the northwest at a speed of 2-5 m/s. Overnight temperatures on March 2-3 are expected to gradually decrease by 6-9 degrees.

In Yerevan, occasional precipitation in the form of snow and mixed rain is expected on March 2. The city's temperatures will be around 4-6 degrees during the day and between -1 and +1 degrees in the evening.
