Pakistani Army Issues Statement

The Pakistani army has reported the killing of hundreds of Taliban fighters and strikes on 22 targets in Afghanistan. Army spokesman Ahmed Chowdhury stated that as a result of Pakistan's strikes, 274 Taliban were killed, and over 400 were injured. He also claimed that 115 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery were destroyed.

During a press briefing, the army spokesman clarified that Pakistani aircraft targeted military positions in 22 districts of Afghanistan. He asserted that at least 83 positions were destroyed, with another 17 captured.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has confirmed casualties among its own ranks; at least 12 soldiers were killed, and another 27 were injured during recent border clashes.
