Armenia-Iran Highway Closed

The Armenia-Iran highway is closed due to heavy snowfall and lack of visibility. This was reported by the Road Department.

“Due to heavy snowfall and lack of visibility, the road from the ‘Zanger’ section of Sisian to Gorayk is closed for all vehicles,” the statement said.

The Department notes that the organizations responsible for road maintenance continue work on clearing the roads and applying salt and sand treatments.
