Spotty Icy Conditions: Current Situation on Roads

The Rescue Service reports that the roads in the territory of Armenia are mostly passable.

Closed are the roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to the Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari.

The Saravan-Zanger section is closed for vehicles towing trailers.

The Berd-Jambarak road is difficult for all types of vehicles.

There are spotty icy conditions on the roads in Shirak and Gegharkunik provinces, as well as in the Spitak Bend of Lori Province. Drivers are urged to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Regarding Larsi, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia crisis management center, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open to all types of vehicles.
