Electronic Cigarettes: A Cause of Organ Failure

Regular use of electronic cigarettes can lead to serious health consequences, including organ failure. This is evidenced by a new study presented within scientific circles.

According to the research, vape users experience severe infections and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease 50% more frequently. The latter is an advanced disease that can result in respiratory failure and malfunction of other organs. It is noted that after diagnosis, the life expectancy of patients often does not exceed 10 years.

Scientists have also found that electronic cigarettes weaken the immune defense of the lungs, increase the likelihood of severe infections, and contribute to airway inflammation. Additionally, deterioration of gum and dental health has been observed.

Experts point out that in terms of risk level, vapes are comparable to traditional cigarettes and recommend completely quitting smoking to avoid health complications.
