Cold Days Ahead with Wet Snow and Mixed Rain

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, precipitation is expected in most regions on the evening of February 26, on February 27-28, and in some areas on March 1, accompanied by blizzard conditions and low horizontal visibility in mountainous areas. On the evening of February 26, precipitation will occur as snow in mountainous and pre-mountainous regions, while in valley regions, it will manifest as wet snow and mixed rain.

On February 27, heavy precipitation is expected in certain areas. March 2 will see weather without precipitation.

The information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center. The air temperature on February 26 will be gradually reduced by 8-12 degrees during the days of February 27-28. In Yerevan on February 26, rain is forecasted. On February 27-28, and during the night of March 1, precipitation is expected: snow at night and mixed rain during the day.

On February 26, wind acceleration is expected with speeds of 18-23 m/s. In the capital, daytime temperatures on February 26 will reach 12-14 degrees Celsius, while in the evening hours, temperatures will drop to +3...+5 degrees.
