Samvel Karapetyan Forced Pension Increases Before Elections, Narek Karapetyan Says

For eight years, you can have the opportunity to raise pensions and do nothing, but when a power emerges that you perceive as a threat, you panic and raise pensions. This was stated by Narek Karapetyan, one of the founders of the "Strong Armenia" party, on his Facebook page.

“In other words, there was an opportunity to increase pensions, and the pensioners already know what to do with that money. If Samvel Karapetyan forced the increase of pensions before the elections, can you imagine what he would do if he were prime minister? Pashinyan, we will know that you are honest when you return billions of drams in bonuses to the budget. Samvel Karapetyan will strengthen the economy and always take care of pensioners, unlike Pashinyan, who only does so before elections to maintain his own position,” Karapetyan wrote.
