Manushak Kindergarten: Let's Gather and Decide, Arayik Harutyunyan Responds to Opposition
Earlier, we reported on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's announcement that pensions in Armenia would increase starting April 1. Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan added that not only pensions but also benefits would rise by 10,000 drams.
Following the announcement, representatives from several opposition political forces began to make statements. Narek Karapetyan, one of the founders of the 'Powerful Armenia' party, wrote that 'Samvel Karapetyan forced us to raise pensions before the elections.'
In response to the statements made by opposition figures, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Arayik Harutyunyan, posted on his Facebook page: 'Let’s gather and decide – which one of you forced us to raise pensions? Let’s put that alternative forward: Manushak kindergarten,' wrote Harutyunyan.
