The Victim of Gunshots in Zovuni is the Son of a Notable Actress: Details
On February 16, Ruben G. was shot dead in Zovuni; he is the son of renowned actress and opera singer Arsenie Navasardyan. This information was reported by Armlur.am.
On that day, around 23:50, gunshots were heard in the village of Zovuni, located in the Kotayk province. Ruben G. was shot by 45-year-old Armen Z., a resident of Zovuni, who attempted to flee but was apprehended shortly thereafter by officers from the Nairi police department, who found him in a nearby area adjacent to a building on 11th Street in Zovuni.
He was arrested on reasonable suspicion of causing grave bodily harm and was transferred to the Nairi police station before being presented to the Nairi investigative department. The crime was committed using a registered 'Saiga' type hunting shotgun in his name.
Earlier, Shamshyan.com reported that on February 19, Ruben G., a 31-year-old resident of Yerevan, died in the intensive care unit of the Armenia Medical Center without regaining consciousness. He had been hospitalized with a severe gunshot wound sustained during the incidents in Zovuni.
