Georgians Love Armenia's Nightlife: Details from the Head of the Tourism Committee
The Minister of Economy of Georgia mentioned during a visit to Armenia that Georgians are interested in Armenia's nightlife and come to enjoy their time. This was stated by the Head of the Tourism Committee, Lusine Gevorgyan, during a press conference.
“A few days ago, the Minister of Economy of Georgia was in Armenia. He noted that there is a rapidly growing desire to visit Yerevan even among his friends. By the end of 2025, 41% of tourists will arrive from Russia, followed by a noticeable increase in tourists from Georgia, nearly 300,000 people, and then those coming from Iran. Different countries employ different tools; in the case of Russia, we have restrictions related to social networks, but last year we conducted two major campaigns.
As a result of beautiful campaigns held in Armenia in December, we saw an increase of 40,000 tourists in January, bringing the total number to 170,000. We believe that digital tools are working very well,” stated Lusine Gevorgyan, the Head of the Tourism Committee.
