Key Documents Destroyed in Jeffrey Epstein Case
British investigators looking into former Prince Andrew's ties to financier Jeffrey Epstein have discovered that several key documents were destroyed after their retention period expired. This is reported by The Times.
The documents in question pertain to flight logs from around twenty years ago that could have related to visits by Epstein and his associates to the United Kingdom. Investigators suspect that Andrew, the brother of King Charles III, may also have traveled to meetings using military aircraft. However, the Royal Air Force retains passenger lists for only three months, after which they are destroyed.
This fact has significantly limited the opportunities for the investigation, as information about the alleged movements is no longer available. As a result, due to the lack of data, it has become almost impossible to confirm or refute several aspects of the case.
At the same time, commercial airlines retain such information for up to seven years, which could provide an additional source for the investigation. Andrew was arrested on February 19 at his Sandringham estate in Norfolk. He was stripped of his titles in October 2025.
