Zelensky Makes Series of Statements

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Russia's aim is to conduct elections within Ukrainian territory to remove him from office. He emphasized that if a ceasefire, lasting about two months, were to occur, he would raise the issue of elections, but currently, in the context of war, society does not support holding them.

Zelensky mentioned that his top priority is to conclude the war as swiftly as possible. He also stated that he does not consider the idea of assassinating Russian President Vladimir Putin, underscoring that such an action would not lead to a cessation of hostilities. At the same time, the president added that his absence would not break Ukraine.

Addressing the issue of territorial concessions, Zelensky declared that no one in the country would support the transfer of lands, as thousands of Ukrainians have died defending those territories. He also acknowledged that, like any leader, he can make mistakes, stressing that discussions about corruption are a testament to the ongoing fight against it.

Zelensky also criticized Putin's historical comments, stating that they do not interest him.
