Peskov Comments on Vance's Visit to Armenia and Azerbaijan

The Press Secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, has commented on U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vance's visit to Armenia and Azerbaijan. Peskov noted that the mentioned countries are sovereign states and have the right to develop cooperation with other countries.

According to him, each country independently decides the directions and formats of its foreign political ties. The Kremlin spokesperson added that such interactions are matters of bilateral relations and fall within the jurisdiction of the respective states.

He also emphasized that Russia is closely monitoring regional processes.
