Larsi is Closed for All Types of Vehicles

The Rescue Service informs that the roads in the territory of Armenia are mostly passable. The roads leading from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to the Amberd Fortress and Kar Lake are closed. The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to navigate for vehicles with trailers. Drivers are urged to travel exclusively with winter tires.

About Larsi: According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia’s Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is closed for all types of vehicles.
