American journalist Tucker Carlson has reported that he was stopped at the airport during his visit to Israel following an interview with U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee. According to Carlson, the incident occurred in Tel Aviv.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Carlson had traveled to Israel for a personal meeting with Huckabee after their online debate. The journalist stated that at the airport, men who identified themselves as security personnel confiscated their passports, isolated the executive producer, and inquired about the content of the interview.
Carlson mentioned that after some time, he was allowed to leave the country. Meanwhile, the U.S. embassy in Israel has denied the journalist's claims, stating that the information regarding his detainment is not accurate.
