Wind Intensification Expected in Certain Areas

From February 18-19, and on the afternoon of the 22nd, precipitation is expected in various regions of the Republic of Armenia: in the pre-mountain and valley regions, rain; in mountainous areas, snow and mixed rain-snow.

On February 20-21, and during the night of the 22nd, dry weather is anticipated. This information has been provided by the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center.

In Yerevan, dry weather is expected during the day on February 18, as well as on the 20th and 21st, and during the night of the 22nd. Rain is possible on the night and morning of February 18, and on the afternoon of the 19th and the 22nd.

On the daytime of February 18, the temperature in the capital will be 15-17 degrees Celsius, while in the evening it will drop to +8...+10 degrees. It is noted that from February 18-19, and on the 22nd, wind intensification is also expected in certain areas at a speed of 14-17 m/s, along with blizzards and decreased visibility in some mountainous regions.

The air temperature on February 18 will rise by another 2-3 degrees, and on the 19th-20th it will gradually decrease by 4-5 degrees, with a decrease of 6-9 degrees in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik.
