National Crisis Management Center Records 628 Incidents, 162 Extraordinary: Ministry of Emergency Situations
From February 9 to 15, the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations recorded 628 incidents, of which 162 were extraordinary. This information was provided by the Emergency Situations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Specifically, incidents included: 57 fires, 3 collapses, 3 poisonings, 2 accidents in utility systems, 2 strong winds, 12 rockfalls, 4 suicide attempts, 7 snowfalls, 16 black ice cases, 56 road traffic accidents, 8 false alarms, 177 domestic calls, 20 fire origin threats, 19 false fire calls, and 238 other incidents.
Due to weather conditions and other factors, there were 207 cases of vehicle blockages. Rescuers provided assistance to 307 citizens and moved 230 vehicles blocked on roads to safe areas. During the past week, 88 people were injured, and 11 lost their lives. As a result of rescue operations, 9 individuals were saved.
