Negotiations in Geneva Were Tense: New Details
The negotiations held in Geneva, which took place in three different formats, lasted for about six hours. The discussions involved Russian-American, Russian-Ukrainian, and Russian-American-Ukrainian delegations.
During an interview with Axios, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that during the talks, the head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, as well as Russian President Vladimir Putin, continued to reference the "historical roots" of the war. According to Zelensky, such an approach does not contribute to the rapid progress of the process. "We do not have time for all this. Decisions must be made, and the war must be ended," he stated.
No official statements regarding the outcomes of the negotiations have been released at this stage.
