Situation Complicates Due to Ukraine's Stance, Says Peskov

Russia is in contact with its oil buyers; however, the situation is complicating due to Ukraine's position, stated Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, while commenting on the oil supply situation regarding Hungary.

“We see that, of course, Ukraine is engaging in some form of energy blackmail towards Hungary, an EU member. We are in contact with the buyers, but the situation is complicated by this stance,” Peskov told reporters in response to a question about whether Russia is discussing increasing oil supplies to Hungary via Croatia.
