Washington Aims to Resolve Issues with Iran through Diplomatic Means: Rubio
The U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, has stated that Washington aims to resolve issues with Iran through diplomatic means but is not rushing to assess the likelihood of reaching such an agreement. He mentioned that the process could be complex.
Rubio noted that the U.S. President prefers peaceful and agreement-based solutions. He emphasized that the President is willing to meet and negotiate with any party if it could facilitate reaching an agreement.
According to the Secretary, it is theoretically possible to reach an agreement that would encompass the concerns raised by the American side. At the same time, he highlighted that Washington is open to such a possibility but does not wish to overestimate its feasibility.
Rubio made these statements during a joint press conference with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
