US Stance on Nuclear Program 'Shifted to a More Realistic Direction': Baghaei
Iran has announced that the US stance on its nuclear program has 'shifted to a more realistic direction,' according to the spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baghaei, ahead of the second round of indirect negotiations between the two parties in Geneva.
He stated that after discussions in Muscat, Tehran has received signals of Washington's more realistic approach regarding the Iranian nuclear issue. Negotiations, facilitated by Oman, are scheduled for Tuesday in Switzerland.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Geneva for a new round of consultations. He also announced a meeting with International Atomic Energy Agency Director Rafael Grossi for 'in-depth technical discussions.' Grossi confirmed the negotiations, describing them as crucial consultations ahead of meaningful talks.
