The 'Zangezur Corridor' Initiative Creates Favorable Opportunities: Hajiyev

Azerbaijan and Serbia, as strategic partners and emerging middle powers, also play an important role in regional cooperation. Azerbaijan is located in the South Caucasus / broader Caspian region, while Serbia is situated in the Balkans. This was stated by Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan.

"The 'Zangezur Corridor' initiative creates favorable opportunities for strengthening connections between the Caspian Sea, Central Asia, and the broader Balkans," he wrote.
