Suspicious Package Sent to Benjamin Netanyahu's Office
A suspicious package has been sent to the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, reported The Jerusalem Post.
The package was examined on-site by forensic experts from the Israeli police's laboratory. The inspections ruled out the presence of an explosive device. It has since been sent to a biological laboratory in Ness Ziona for further testing.
The Prime Minister's Office's Security and Emergency Division stated, “During the inspections, suspicious indicators were found in the package received. It was handled in accordance with established procedures, and the process has now been completed. The package poses no danger to staff,” the statement read.
The newspaper claims that an anonymous source indicated that the package contained capsules made from an unknown substance.
There have been similar incidents in the past. It is worth recalling that in November 2025, another package was discovered within Netanyahu's office premises. Emergency service personnel and representatives from security agencies who arrived at the scene ruled out that it was dangerous.
