During a joint press conference with Orbán, Rubio stated that President Donald Trump is deeply committed to the success of Hungary’s Prime Minister, noting that Orbán’s leadership and personal connection to Trump are important for the United States' interests.

This declaration signifies clear support for the nationalist leader who faces a challenging electoral battle in April. "President Trump is deeply committed to your success, as your success is our success," Rubio said while standing beside Orbán. "We want this country to thrive. This is in our national interest, especially as long as you are the Prime Minister and leader of this country," he added.
