Turkey's Foreign Ministry Strongly Condemns Israeli Government's Decision
Turkey's Foreign Ministry has issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli government's decision to expand settlement activities and affirm Israel's authority over the occupied West Bank.
"We strongly condemn the recent decision of the Israeli government, which is aimed at imposing its authority on the occupied West Bank and expanding settlement activities," the ministry stated in its declaration.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry emphasized that such actions violate international law and are null and void. Ankara stated that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories, and its policies undermine efforts to achieve a two-state solution.
The Turkish side called on the international community to take a decisive stance and reaffirmed its support for the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the 1967 borders.
