Don't Fall for Manipulations That Asphalt is Only Damaged Where We Improved It: Pambukhchyan

There has been extensive discussion about the poor quality of asphalt in Yerevan. Armen Pambukhchyan, the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, addressed this issue on his Facebook page.

"I find it necessary to mention that last year we carried out medium repairs on Vagharchyan, Erevan and Gayi boulevards, as well as local asphalt repairs covering 200,000 square meters, which significantly differ in quality. For the past two days, we have been conducting monitoring late at night with the Urban Development Department in the areas where we have carried out work, and we have hardly found any damaged sections there. A sweeping machine certainly cannot selectively pick and choose which areas to damage while leaving new areas intact. Do not fall for the manipulations that asphalt is only being damaged in the sections we have improved. Of course, regardless of everything, we will continue to ensure that all problems receive solutions,” he stated.
