Aliyev: 'It Is Impossible to Pardon Armenian Military Criminals'

In an interview with France 24, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev spoke about the military-political leadership of Artsakh. He compared the fabricated trial taking place in Baku to the Nuremberg trials and stated that "it is impossible to grant pardons. These individuals have committed serious crimes against humanity."

Commenting on calls to "turn the page" and grant pardons, Aliyev rejected such possibilities, emphasizing that, in his opinion, so-called Armenian "crimes" were even more serious than those committed by Nazis during World War II.

He noted that after the August summit at the White House, "peace has been achieved" with Armenia, and for him, the issue is closed.

Aliyev expressed confidence in the implementation of the TRIPP project, which aims to establish road and rail connections through Armenia, linking the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic with Europe. "I have no doubt that this will happen," he said.
