Trump: Iran Will Face Very Difficult Times If We Do Not Reach an Agreement
US President Donald Trump has stated that he expects to reach an agreement with Iran in the coming month, while emphasizing the need for a swift resolution. “I believe that will happen within the next month, roughly. It shouldn’t take long; it needs to happen quickly. Iran needs to come to an agreement on everything very quickly,” he told reporters at the White House in response to questions about the timeline for a deal with Iran.
“We need to reach an agreement; otherwise, Iran will face very difficult times,” the president added.
Earlier, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed hope that there would be satisfactory outcomes for Tehran in the negotiations regarding the nuclear deal with the US. Araghchi further stated that Iran will not shy away from defending its sovereignty “at any cost.”
