Air Temperature to Gradually Rise by 4-6 Degrees

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, on February 12-13, precipitation is expected in some regions at times, with significant snowfall during the day on the 14th in most areas. In the pre-mountainous and valley areas, mixed rain, and in mountainous regions, snowfall and cloud cover are anticipated, along with low horizontal visibility.

From February 15-16, dry weather is expected. According to the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, wind intensification is also expected in separate regions from February 13-16, with speeds of 13-16 m/s.

From February 12-15, fog is anticipated during the night and morning hours in parts of the Shirak and Ararat plain, in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn, and in Yerevan. On the nights and mornings of February 12-13, black ice is expected on the country’s roadways.

Air temperature is expected to gradually rise by 4-6 degrees from February 13-16, and by 8-10 degrees in Lori, Tavush, and Syunik. In Yerevan, precipitation is also expected on February 12 in the form of snow and mixed rain, with rain expected during the day on the 14th. No precipitation is forecasted for February 13 and 15-16.

From February 12-15, fog is also expected during the night and morning hours. On February 12, daytime temperatures in the capital will be around 3-5 degrees, while evening temperatures will register between +1 and +3 degrees.
