Arresting people on fabricated charges has become a tool of the authorities to pressure, intimidate, and silence those who dare to position themselves against the regime.

When the law becomes a means of political retribution, the state ceases to be legal and transforms into a repressive mechanism.

This is not a legal process but a political persecution aimed at hitting David through his family. It is clear that this is related not to the 'law,' but to political revenge," stated David Hambardzumyan's lawyer.
