Colombian President Reveals Assassination Attempt Against Him

Colombian President Gustavo Petro has announced that his helicopter was forced to divert due to an assassination attempt. “I did not land where I was supposed to land because there was concern that the helicopter, in which my children were also present, would be targeted,” he said during a government meeting broadcast on the president's administration's YouTube channel.
