Alen Simonyan Discusses Tangible Results on Prisoners Issue

The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, has addressed the issue of prisoners while responding to a journalist's question regarding any tangible results. Referring to the visit of the U.S. Vice President to Armenia, Simonyan stated, “You often ask this question, and we say that we do not publicly discuss this matter. Work is being done, and after such statements, a number of people return to Armenia. Nothing has changed tactically.”

Simonyan positively assessed the working style adopted with Azerbaijan regarding the issue of prisoners. “I evaluate very positively the working style we have adopted with Azerbaijan. I believe that if we continue to advance along this path, our two countries will no longer have problems in the near future,” said Simonyan.
