Iran Sets Conditions for Uranium Enrichment Reduction
The reduction of uranium enrichment levels is contingent upon the complete lifting of sanctions imposed on Iran. As reported by APA, Iranian media cited the head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, stating, "The reduction of uranium enrichment levels depends on whether our imposed sanctions are fully lifted," Eslami emphasized.
He noted that Iran's interactions with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are ongoing. "There are connections. However, the IAEA has not yet done what it should have done in response to attacks on our nuclear facilities," Mohammad Eslami said.
He also announced that the issue of exporting uranium from the country is not on the agenda. According to him, if such proposals have been made, they were only presented by individual countries as an attempt to promote Iran-U.S. dialogue. "However, this issue has not been discussed during dialogues with the United States," the head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization emphasized.
