Vice President Vence Makes Statement After Visiting the Armenian Genocide Memorial

U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vence made a post on his X page regarding his visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial. “Today, Vice President Vence and Second Lady Usha Vence laid wreaths at the memorial to honor the victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915,” the post on Vence's microblog states.

It is noted that Vice President Vence was welcomed by Editha Gzoyan, the Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, Armenia's Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, and the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Armenia David Allen.

At the end of the visit, the U.S. Vice President made an entry in the Guest Book of Honor at the Armenian Genocide Museum, stating, “In deep respect for the lives lost, we honor the resilience and steadfast spirit of the Armenian people. May America and Armenia strive together for a future of peace and understanding,” the entry reads.
