Nurlan Saburov Likely to Be Unable to Overturn Russia Entry Ban

The Kazakh comedian Nurlan Saburov is unlikely to succeed in overturning the 50-year ban on entering the Russian Federation through the court. This information was provided to TASS by sources close to law enforcement agencies.

According to them, such a review of the decision will only be possible if the previous order to hold Saburov administratively liable in 2025 is amended or revoked. The sources indicated that without the revision of this legal act, the court does not have sufficient grounds to lift the entry ban. Therefore, any potential lawsuit that Saburov may file has little chance of success.

Currently, it is unclear whether the comedian plans to initiate the process of reviewing the administrative case, which could impact the fate of the entry ban.
