EU Sanctions Harm the EU Itself, Says Fico

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has stated that the European Union's sanctions against Russia are ineffective and negatively impact the EU itself.

Fico criticized the EU's sanctions policy toward Russia, noting that it fails to achieve its intended goals while simultaneously causing harm to the EU. He emphasized that the imposed restrictions have not led to the expected results, but instead have created serious economic and social repercussions for EU member states.

He highlighted the necessity of revisiting the current policies, taking into account the interests of European countries.
