Trump's Advisors Meet with Iran's Foreign Minister in Oman

In Oman, during negotiations, U.S. President Donald Trump's advisors, Steve Mnuchin and Jared Kushner, held a direct meeting with Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

According to Axios reporter Barak Ravid, citing two informed sources, the meeting was part of the negotiation process, although Iran's official stance has been that discussions should only take place indirectly, through Omani mediators.

Previously, Tehran had repeatedly stated that communications with the U.S. are conducted solely through intermediaries, and there can be no talk of direct encounters.
