Larsi is Closed to All Types of Vehicles

The Emergency Service informs that roads within Armenia are mostly passable. The roads leading from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake are closed.

The Gjumri-Bavra road is closed to all types of vehicles. The road from Jermuk intersection to Meghri is closed to vehicles with trailers.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed to vehicles with trailers and is difficult to navigate for other types of vehicles. Snowfall is reported in the cities of Kapan and Goris, as well as on the Kapan-Goris road, and in areas known as "Meghri Mountain" and "Zanger-Sarnakunk".

Blizzard conditions are present in the Amasia region. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed to all types of vehicles.
