Blizzard, Low Visibility: Roads Closed

As of February 4, at 16:10, all inter-state and republican roads in Armenia are open. Organizations responsible for road maintenance continue to work on clearing and treating the roads with salt and sand. This information comes from the Road Department.

Due to adverse weather conditions, heavy blizzards, lack of visibility, and considerations for traffic safety, roads are occasionally closed. The Gyumri-Bavra road is closed to all types of vehicles due to severe blizzards and low visibility. The road from Sisian intersection to Kapan and the Vardenyats Pass are closed for vehicles with trailers.

Snow is falling in the regions of Sisian, Goris, Meghri, Aparan, Aragats, Dilijan, and Gavarr.
