An incident occurred at School No. 153 in Krasnoyarsk, during which a fire broke out and several people were injured. According to local sources, a 14-year-old student ignited the toilet lid and classroom curtains. The fire was extinguished by school staff before the arrival of firefighters, reports Meduza.

A number of media outlets present various theories regarding the incident. According to these, the student brought a flammable substance (gasoline) to school and poured it on one of the students, after which the fire erupted. It is also noted that she physically assaulted other students.

According to published data, five children were injured as a result of the incident. The student with the most severe condition sustained extensive burns to various parts of her body. Two other children were also burned, including the girl involved in the incident. Additionally, two more students were hospitalized with head injuries.

The official report from the Krasnoyarsk region of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs states that the student threw a burning object into the classroom and subsequently struck several students. It is also mentioned that a teacher was injured. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
