I Decided to Come Back and Fight Again: Mihran Harutyunyan Achieves First Victory After Long Break
The former member of the Armenian national team in Greco-Roman wrestling, Mihran Harutyunyan, achieved his first victory in mixed martial arts after a long hiatus. At the UpNextFighting 30 tournament held in Los Angeles, Harutyunyan competed in the 66.5 kg weight category against American Shane Torres and won.
"This victory was hard-earned for me because I hadn’t fought for a long time, hadn’t trained, hadn’t done anything, just trained kids. I decided to come back and fight again," Harutyunyan said after his victory.
