Court Cannot Decide Who is a Bishop, Who is Not: Edmon Marukyan

The leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' party, Edmon Marukyan, has published a video on his social media page, stating that the court cannot determine who is a bishop and who is not.

“Can any citizen apply to the court and claim that the court should recognize him as a bishop or a catholicos, thus granting that citizen a status? Or can the court appoint someone as a 'Jehovah's Witnesses' pastor? Certainly not, and now the Investigative Committee is committing a crime; those investigators will testify in the future that they were called from the Prime Minister's office or from some other place and such a demand was made. In general, everything is being done to undermine the Bishop's Assembly initiated in Austria,” Marukyan added.
