Air Temperature to Gradually Rise from January 31 During Daytime and February 1-3

On January 31 during the day and from February 1-3, strong winds with speeds of 17-20 m/s are expected in some regions, along with blizzards and low horizontal visibility in mountainous areas. This information comes from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

During the night and morning hours of February 1-3, fog is anticipated in the low-lying areas of the Shirak plain, the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, and in the Ararat plain, including Yerevan.

On the night of February 1 and in the morning, black ice is expected on the republic's roads.

Precipitation is expected in some regions during the day on January 31 and from February 1-4, with mixed rain and snow in the foothill and valley areas, and in mountainous regions, snowfall will be present along with blizzards and low horizontal visibility.

February 5 is forecasted to be dry.

On the nights and mornings of February 1-3, fog is expected again in the low-lying areas of the Shirak plain, the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, and in the Ararat plain.

The wind is forecasted to blow from the southwest at 3-6 m/s, with increasing speeds of 17-20 m/s expected in some areas on January 31 and from February 1-3.

The air temperature is expected to gradually rise by 2-4 degrees Celsius on January 31 during the day and by 6-8 degrees Celsius in the Ararat plain and its foothills. In Yerevan, precipitation in the form of snow and rain is expected on January 31 during the day and from February 1-4. Dry weather is anticipated on February 5. Fog is also expected on the nights and mornings of February 1-3.
