TRIPP Weakens Russia's Position in the South Caucasus, Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service
The United States and Armenia are launching the TRIPP route, which deprives Russia of its status as a major player in the South Caucasus. The new corridor will connect Asia and Europe through Armenia and Azerbaijan, without Moscow's involvement. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, referencing the Foreign Intelligence Service.
The 'Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity' (TRIPP) project is becoming a new geopolitical factor in the region. It grants the United States special rights to develop the transit corridor.
The Armenian-American joint management company will take control of the project for the next 49 years. TRIPP definitively removes Russia from its position as a major player in the South Caucasus, the Foreign Intelligence Service noted.
