Light Snowfall in Several Regions of Armenia: Road Conditions

As of January 26, at 9:00 AM, all inter-state and republican highways in Armenia are open. This is reported by the Road Department. Organizations responsible for road maintenance continue to clear the highways and treat them with salt and sand.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed only for vehicles with trailers.

Light snowfall has been observed in the regions of Ashtarak, Talin, Artik, Akhuryan, Ashotik, Dilijan, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Gavar, Martuni, Sisian, Meghri, Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, and Nairi.

There are patches of black ice on the roads in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, Sevan, Dilijan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotik, and Amasia.
