In the Last 5 Years, We Have Nearly Halved the Number of Job Seekers and Unemployed Individuals: Torosyan

When we talk about newly created job opportunities and highlight the stable growth in this regard over the past months, we often hear some inexplicable noise surrounding it. This was stated by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Arsen Torosyan, on his Facebook page.

“The statistics on increasing job opportunities are also confirmed by the decreasing number of job seekers and unemployed individuals. The attached image shows the number of job seekers and unemployed registered with the Unified Social Service at the end of each year. They demonstrate that we have nearly halved the number of job seekers and unemployed over the past 5 years. And this decline in numbers continues,” he noted.
