US Accidentally Deports Suspect In High-Profile Robbery Case

According to the AP agency, an extraordinary incident has occurred as US authorities accidentally deported Jason Nelson, a suspect in one of the largest robberies. Priscilla Flores is accused of stealing around $100 million worth of precious gems, gold, and watches.

Flores was arrested in August 2025, but by December, she was deported to Ecuador. Notably, this happened without the knowledge of the prosecutors handling the criminal case.

Now, the suspect's lawyer is calling for the case to be dismissed, arguing that the government has effectively abandoned the charges due to the deportation.
