Progress Noted in Ukraine Negotiations: The New York Times
Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi concluded with a "rarely positive statement" from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, signaling progress in the "slow process of conflict cessation," reports The New York Times.
The publication noted that after the talks, Zelensky described them as "constructive" and indicated that the next phase could take place during the week of January 26 to February 1.
"The first face-to-face negotiations among Russian, Ukrainian, and American officials ended on Saturday with a rare positive statement from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, marking progress in the slow process of conflict cessation," wrote the NYT.
